LPA met with the Director, Karen Berry and explained the nature of the visit and to review the results of the recent lead testing. There were 55 children in care and 14 fingerprint and associated staff present during the inspection. Hours of operation Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM. On November 7, 2022 a lead test sample was drawn in the facility. The results were received on December 16, 2022. LPA conducted an inspection and inspected the facility for health and safety. LPA viewed a plan of correction and the lead testing results are posted in a public area. All parents will be informed of the test results by February 10, 2023 via email. LPA obtained photos of the water fountain and a copy of the report. A plan of correction was discussed with the Director. This facility is being given a Type B citation for California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 Chapter 1 Regulation number 101238(a) Building and Grounds. (Please see 809-D page for citation and Plan of Correction details). In addition, the children bring their own bottled water from home and the facility has filter water, the staff will refill the water bottles as needed. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. A copy of this report was provided. Appeal Rights provided.
