Based on observation of the pool, the licensee had the pool alarm sitting on the outside of the pool and does not have the remote alarm that is supposed to be placed inside the home. The licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee will immediately place the pool alarm in the pool and either get a new remote alarm to be placed in the home or purchase a new pool alarm to ensure compliance with AB2866 regulations. LPA will conduct an unannounced inspection after 09/08/2025 to ensure compliance.
During record review, Licensee was unable to provide documentation of the 15-minute sleep check logs for child #3 and child #5. The licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee will check on sleeping infants and document the checks on safe sleep log. Licensee will submit two weeks worth of safe sleep logs to LPA Pacheco by 9/15/2025 via email. Licensee will ensure that sleep logs are completed and documented for infants moving forward.
