Based on LPA observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above where While outside observing the playground area, LPA found the green turf to be in need of repair as several areas were either ripped or protruding up causing a tripping hazard. Additionally, there were metal anchors laying on the ground that could also be a danger and/or a tripping hazard to children in care which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee states they will either repair or replace the ground cover by POC date. Licensee further states they will provide proof of such to LPA by POC date.
