Based on observation, interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. At 9:15am, Licensee was observed caring for 8 children including 3 infants without an assistant, which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee immediately called parents, 2 children including 1 infant, were picked up by 10:15am. Licensee was back in compliance with ratio at 10:15am. Licensee states she will submit a statement of understanding the ratio/capacity regulation for the family child care home and will ensure staffing ratio and capacity is being met at all time.
Based on interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 3 out of 3 infant's records. Licensee did not have current sleep log checks for the 3 current infants in care, last sleep checks were documented on 07/08/2024, Licensee confirmed she did not update the sleep log recently, which posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licnesee states she will submit updated Sleep log for the infant in care to LPA by due date.
