Based on observation and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. A resident of the home did not have a formal fingerprint clearance. Guardian is still showing as "in process", and not "eligible clearance", which the department requires. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to submit proof of the resident being associated to the facility, no later than POC due date.

Based on observation, the home has a pool with a fence around it. The inches between the gaps/voids are approximately 5 inches, putting the gaps/voids on the gate 1 inch over the allotted space. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to submit or communicate plan for this by this Friday, 08/01/2025. The correction is due no later than POC due date.

Based on observation, admission and record review request, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Licensee did not have drowning prevention safety equipment during this inspection, therefore no logs were available. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to implement log as soon as the alarm arrives, and submit proof of log to licensing no later than POC due date.

Based on observation, the home has a pool with a iron rod fence around it. The vertical clearance is about 4.5 inches, 2.5 inches more than the allotted space from the ground. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to submit or communicate plan for this by this Friday, 08/01/2025. The correction is due no later than POC due date.

Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Licensee's Mandated Reporter Training (MRT) was on file, but expired on 07/15/2025. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to go online at mandatedreporterca.com, complete training for "Child Care Providers" and submit proof of certificate to licensing, no later than the POC due date.

Based on observation, interview conducted, and records reviewed, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as licensee did not ensure records were maintained for two out of four day care children present which poses a potential health, safety, and personal rights risk to children in care.

Resolution: LPA discussed the requirement to ensure each child’s records are maintained at the facility. Licensee agreed to provide proof of required documents for C1 and C3 to LPA by 08/16/2024.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to complete the required training and submit proof to the Riverside Child Care Regional office by 7/27/2023.
