Based on interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above due to a plastic box containing 6 bottles of prescribed medication observed in dining room area accessible to children in care (photos taken), which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee immediately removed the box of prescribed medications from on-limit area in dining room and put placed in locked bedroom. Licensee to submit a statement in writing they understand the regulation and will be in future compliance to Community Care Licensing.
