ESTRADA, ANA FAMILY CHILD CARE

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed two bottles of Ortho Home Defense Insect Killer (1.33 gal./5l) on top of the table in the backyard where children have access. This poses a potential health, safety, or personal rights risk to children in care.

Resolution: During the inspection, Licensee immediately make the insect killer sprays inaccessible to the children in care. Licensee agrees to submit a Plan of Correction (POC) to the Department indicates as to how Licensee will ensure that the daycare children will not have access to the insect killer sprays.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed the following: no proof that the mesh fencing is complaint with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) International Standard F2286, no proof of pool alarm, no Rescue pole with a body hook of minimum fixed length of 12 feet, and no current daily log affirming daily inspection. These poses a potential health, safety, or personal rights risk to children in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to submit the following Plan of Correction (POC) to the Department by 9/23/25: proof of mesh fencing, pool alarm, Rescue Pol with minimum fixed of 12 feet, and daily log of inspecting the pool.

Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Licensee did not have current pediatric CPR/FA. This poses a potential health, safety, or personal rights risk to children in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to submit a Plan of Correction (POC) to the Department by 09/23/2025 showing that Licensee has current pediatric CPR/FA training.

During the indoor inspection, LPA observed a clear glass double French door with five grids on each side of the French door. One of the glass grids on the bottom of the door was missing. LPA observed Child #1 and Child #3 have access to the off-limits living room that stored the multiple gym equipment. In the backyard, LPA a portable propane tank still connected to a stove burner. This poses a potential health, safety, or personal rights risk to children in care.

Resolution: During the inspection, Licensee immediately put the portable propane tank in an off-limits area. Licensee is to submit a plan indicate as to how she will ensure that children will not have access to the portable propane tank. Licensee also agrees to submit proof to the Department indicated that daycare children will not have access to the off-limits living room where multiple gyms equipment were stored.

During record review, there was no record indicated that the Affidavit Regarding Liability Insurance (LIC 282) was given to parent as there was record of LIC 282 in the children's file. This poses a potential health, safety, or personal rights risk to children in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to submit proof to the Department by 09/04/2024 indicating that all daycare parents were provided notice Affidavit Regarding Liability Insurance (LIC 282).
