LEON FAMILY CHILD CARE

Based on observation,the backyard area had a stack of hazardous items behind shed accessible to children as well as the backyard on the right side of the house with items that may be hazardous, therefore the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee will clean hazardous items out of backyard and make items inaccessible. Licensee will also provide LPA with update backyard facility sketch 999A. Once items have been cleaned, Licensee will provide photographic evidence of cleaned areas.

Based on interview and record review, S2 had a background clearance but was not associated to the facility, therefore the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee will submit the LIC 9182 to Regional office by email or phone and will register with Guardian to create an account. Once S2 is associated, Licensee will send proof of association to LPA via email.
