Personnel Requirements: At least one staff member who is trained in pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation and pediatric first aid pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1596.866 shall be present when children are at the child care center or offsite for center activities. This requirements was not met by evidence by: Jacqueline Asmar who was present with the children during the inspection had an expired first aid CPR as of 3/2019, and had no proof of current valid CPR/first aid certification. This poses a potential risk to the children if not renewed.

Based on record review and staff interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as 2 out of 3 student records reviewed revealed that C1 & C2 were missing signed medical consent for emergency medical treatment, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
