Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in ensuring to prevent access to the pool by having a fence placed to prevent access from the french door , Licensee stated they had removed the wrought iron fence during restoration work completed in the pool area which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee agrees to barricade the pool preventing access from the french doors of the childcare room and submit pictures to the department by the POC due date.
Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in ensuring the wrought iron fence measures no more than two inches from the ground which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee agrees to make the required corrections to meet the regulation requirement of not more than two inches from the ground and submit pictures to the department the POC due date.
