Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that there were 9 items including shampoos, conditioners, and diaper cream that stated "keep out of reach of children" on the label. These items were located on the ground of a shower that was in the restroom the children use and underneath the changing table in an unsecured cabinet, This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Upon notification of these items, the facility immediately moved these items out of reach, bringing the facility back into compliance during this visit. Facility will submit a written statement of understanding of the above regulation (California Code of Regulations Section 102417(g)(4)). Facility will submit this to the Department by the POC due date.
