During record review, Licensee stated that she was unsure if her mandated reporter training was expired and was unable to provide documentation showing the last date it was completed. The licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee will log onto website mandatedreporterca.com and complete the AB1207 Child Care Providers mandated reporter training by the due date. Licensee will email copy of the certificate to LPA by the end of the day on 04/26/2024.
During review of records, Licensee did not have documentation of the 15 minute sleep logs for all infants in care. Licensee stated she has been checking on the infants while they sleep, however she has not been documenting the checks, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee will document 15 minute sleep checks for all infants in care and provide a copy of the documentation to LPA by the due date. Licensee will also review regulations regarding 102425 Infant Safe Sleep on CCLD website and write a paragrah stating was was learned from reading the regulations.
