Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that a backyard shed was found to be unlocked with poisons accessible to children in care which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee will lock the shed and bring the key inside making it inaccessible to children. During the inspection, Licensee locked the shed and brought the key inside. Licensee will send a written statement to the department acknowledging the requirement to keep toxins locked while children are in care.
