Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed Infant #1 who was awake laying in a baby-bouncer which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. A "baby walker" means any article including a baby bouncer as described in paragraph (4) of subdivision (a) of Section 1500.86 of Part 1500 of Title 16 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
Resolution: Licensee agrees to return the baby bouncers to parents of infants in care. The licensee agrees to provide a written statement of baby bouncers returned to parents. The written statement shall include on how she will ensure not allowing baby bouncers accessible to children in care. The plan of correction shall be submitted to CCLD on or before 2/21/2025.
Based on a record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in one out of one file review where the assistants immunization records were not available for review which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: The licensee agrees to provide proof of her assistants immunizations (Pertussis, Measles and Flu) to CCLD on or before 2/1/2024.
Based on LPA's observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above where the licensee and her assistant were found operating over capacity with 11 children in care which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: The licensee agrees to cease operating over capacity and agrees to maintain the capacity, ratio, age requirements as stated in Title 22 Regulations. The licensee agrees to submit and application requesting an increase in capacity. The plan of correction shall be submitted to CCLD on or before 2/1/2024.
