Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed in backyard one gas riding lawn mower, one lawn mower, various metal bars, under a shed’s patio that are accessible to children. LPA observed behind shed a pile of wood panels, metal fence with sharp edges, a metal panel, wood panel with nails, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee stated they will make items inaccessbile to children in care. Licensee shall notify the Department when the corrections are made, and the backyard shall be inspected prior to Licensee allowing children to have access.
