Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Both Licensees' mandated reporter training certificates expired in 2024 which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensees will provide proof of an updated mandated reporter training certificate. LPA advised training can be completed on mandatedreporterca.com and advised the general and child care provider training is required.
Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. The pool currently does not completely meet AB 2866 requirements which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee will provide proof that pool meets AB 2866 requirements.
Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. The fire extinguishers did not have proof of purchase within one year or service within one year which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee will submit proof that fire extinguisher has been purchased within the last year or proof that fire extinguisher has been serviced within the last year.

Based on record review and interview, A1 did not have proof of completion for AB1207 Mandated Reporter training at time of inspection. A1 states she has not taken the training. This is a potential health, safety, and personal rights risk to children in care.
Resolution: Licensee states she will have A1 take training and provide proof of completion to LPA via text by POC date.

Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above due to LPA observing that the pool door was not locked and it opens toward the pool. LIcensee noted that they have a waiver on file fo the pool and it doesn't expire. LPA informed Licensee that waivers can stand if all items noted are in compliance or if the department notices concerns and the gated door has no lock, no alarm, and opens toward the pool which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Per Licensee, the gated door leading to the pool was locked during the inspection.
