CHAN FAMILY CHILD CARE

Based on observation and licensee interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above regarding food items that are not labeled with the childs name which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee has labeled the container at time of visit and POC has been corrected on 5/15/24

Based on observation and licensee discussion, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed cleaning supplies in the childcare area bathroom above the toilet at time of inspection and in storage cabinets in nap area were accessible to children which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee has locked the storage cabinet and bathroom cabinet at time of visit and POC has been corrected on 5/15/24.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above play yards have a attached overhead canopy and blankets in the the play yards at time of visit which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee states that she will remove the attached canopy to the play yards and submit photo verification by the POC due date of 5/24/24. Licensee removed blankets in play yard at time of visit.

Based on LPA observation and interview, fire extinguisher was not serviced or puchrased annually. LPA observed proof of purchase receipt dated 10/14/2021, Licensee stated this is her most recent fire extinguisher. This is a potential health, safety, and personal rights risk to children in care.

Resolution: Licensee states she already purchased a fire extinguisher today and will provide photo proof to LPA by POC date via email/text.
