Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) observed that the Director and staff #2 completed incorrect training (online based) for Pediatric/CPR First Aid.

(2) Each person specified in (g) above shall have a health-screening report signed by the person performing the screening. This report shall indicate the following:

(f) At least one staff member who is trained in pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation and pediatric first aid pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1596.866 shall be present when children are at the child care center or offsite for center activities.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. During the indoor inspection, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) observed some cleaning supplies that were accessible to children, which were stored under the kitchen sink. LPA also observed the janitor closet was left unlocked as well as two other small closets/rooms (boiler room and electrical panel), which contained wiring or other items that could pose a danger if accessible to children.
