FLORES FAMILY CHILD CARE

Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 1 out of 1 infants did not have current a sleep log, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee states she will document safe sleep every 15 minutes while C1 is napping and will email the safe sleep logs for the next 3 weeks, to Licensing by POC date.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that there was no carbon monoxide detector available at the facility which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee states she will purchase and install an operational carbon monoxide detector. A photograph of the installed carbon monoxide detector will be sent to LPA as proof of correction.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that the required 2A 10BC fire extinguisher model was not available at the facility which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee states she will purchase the required 2A 10BC Fire Extinguisher. A photograph of the fire extinguisher and receipt will be sent to LPA as proof of correction.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that the Pediactric First Aid/CPR certification for Licensee has an expiration date of 03/23/2021 which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee states she will enroll in a Pediatric First Aid/CPR course and submit an udpated copy of the certification to LPA as proof of correction.
