The purpose of the visit was an announce case management licensee-initiated follow up inspection at the facility to ensure that health, safety and personal rights as requires by Title 22 and Health and Safety Regulations governing California Child Care Centers will be met. There were 23 children present during this inspection. This is an application for 130 children, ages 2 years to 5 years old and the removal of the previously licensed toddler option. The child care center will operate Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The fire clearance was approved on 3/14/2022. Licensee requested LPA Lowe remeasure the outdoor activity area located at the 2nd building located off of the main campus. Per licensee the outdoor area located at the 2nd building is intended for children ages 2 years – 3 years old. On 4/06/2022 LPA Lowe conducted a case management licensee-initiated visit and the following outdoor measurements were completed: Main building outdoor total measurements: 6959.23 divided by 75 sq feet = 92 children Second building outdoor total measurements: 2306.12 divided by 75 sq feet = 30 children On 4/20/2022 LPA Lowe completed additional outdoor measurements at the 2nd building. There were three areas the facility identified as outdoor activity space that was not measured during 4/06/2022 visit. Additional areas measured equal 588.28 square feet. Total outdoor activity space measures: adding all outdoor measurement taken on 4/06/2022 and 4/20/2022 are as follows: 6959.23 + 2306.12 + 588.28 = 9,853.63 divided by 75 square feet equals 131 children.
