Upon arrival LPA Lee met with Director Hye Joung who provided a tour of the facility. This preschool program consists of 2 classrooms. Preschool program is located in the same facility as the infant program (198400187) Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM. The following was observed during the inspection. 3 Staff members with 12 children. Furniture and equipment were inspected for age appropriateness and good repair. Telephone service, heating, lighting and ventilation were evaluated. Children have their own cubby to store their belongings. Napping equipment is available in form of cots. Reminder: Linens are to be taken home each week to be washed. There is available drinking water in form of water jugs and personal water bottles labeled with the child's name. Children are signed in and out at the entrance of the 2 classrooms. The Director's office and staff restroom are used as the isolation area for any ill children. The classroom was observed to have smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. The last disaster drill conducted with children was on 01/13/2025 per disaster drill log posted in the classroom. The facility has a kitchen were meals and snacks are prepared and cooked for the children. The kitchen was inspected and observed to be clean, orderly, and sufficient storage for supplies.. The facility provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner.. The menus were observed to be posted in the kitchen and facility. LPAs inspected the children’s outdoor space. The playground was inspected for safety, cushioning material, good repair and age appropriateness. LPA observed shade and adequate fencing. The playground for the preschool program was observed to be separate from the outdoor play area for the infant license.
