Lead test result received by CCLD on 09/07/2022, tested on 08/17/2022 had lead level exceeding 5 parts per billion in Outlets A, B, D & H. This is a potential health and safety risk to the children in care.

(1) A licensed child day care center, as defined in Section 1596.76, that is located in a building that was constructed before January 1, 2010, shall have its drinking water tested for lead contamination levels on or after January 1, 2020, but no later than January 1, 2023, and every five years after the date of the initial test.

.3 California Lead Action Level at Child Care Centers (c) If testing indicates an Action Level Exceedance at any water outlet, the water from that outlet is deemed not safe to drink and an immediate response pursuant to section 101704 shall be required. This requirement was not as evidenced by: Lead test results received by CCLD on 10/14/2025, tested on 09/13/2025 had lead level exceeding 5 parts per billion in Outlet G. This poses a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care.
