Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. During the outdoor inspection of the wrought iron pool fence, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) observed that the gap between the ground (dirt) and the bottom of the fence measured between four (4) and five (5) inches in some areas.
Resolution: Licensee agreed to add pavers or raise the dirt level under the pool fence so that the gap measures a maximum of two (2) inches and will submit proof to the Community Care Licensing (CCL) office by the Plan of Correction due date, 11/14/25.
Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. During the outdoor inspection, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) observed that licensee had an appropriate fence/gate for the pool but was missing a secondary safety feature such as a pool alarm that goes off when placed in the water.
Resolution: Licensee agreed to purchase and install a pool alarm in the pool that meets ASTM International Standards F2208 and will provide proof to the CCL office by the plan of correction due date, 11/14/25.
