Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in not ensuring the pool is surrounded by a fence or wall, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee's stated they will ensure the pool is fully surrounded by a gate and will send the department pictures and videos of the fenced pool by 7/28/25. Licensee stated she will send the department a written statement that she understands this regulation.

Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in not ensuring one of the pool gates self-closes and self-latches, which posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee fixed the spring on the door and the gate now self-closes and self-latches at the time of this inspection. Licensee's stated they will make sure to add this door on the daily check and document it.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in not ensuring the pool gate has a key lockable device, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee showed LPA a new lockable device in the package and stated they will install it and send the department pictures by 7/28/25. LPA advised a lockable device is needed for each door.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in not ensuring the pool alarm was in operations as it was not working at the start of this inspection, which posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee stated he re set the alarm and is now working. LPA observed Licensee test the alarm and the alarm is now working. Licensee's stated they will make sure they include checking for the alarm on the daily check and stated they will send the department a written statement of their understanding of this regulation.
