Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, one sleeping infant was observed with a plushy giraffe attached to pacifier, which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee agrees to watch the following webinar: https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-andresources/safe-sleep and will submit a written summary of what was covered to LPA via email.
Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, medicine cabinet in bathroom no. 1 had a non-fuctioning magnet, making the contents accessible to the children in care, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee agrees to place a safety latch and/or remove content from medicine cabinet and submit a photo proof to licensee via email.
Based on interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in not conducting and documenting fire and disaster drills, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee agrees to create a Fire and Disaster drill log as well as begin to document drills every six months and summit log to LPA via email.
Based on interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above with not having completed training for those individuals that provide care and supervison for children in care, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee agrees to have all individuals providing care and supervision for children in care take the Mandated Reporter Training and submit certification to LPA via email.
Based on interview and lack of record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, licensee was unable to provide personnel files for LPA review, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee agrees to complete all personnel files and submit copies to LPA for review.
