Resolution: Licensee stated that they thought A3's criminal record clearance was completed. A3 left the facility to obtain their clearance. Licensee was reminded that A3 needs clearance to return to the facility. Licensee stated that they would submit a plan of action to ensure that criminal record clearance is obtained and confirmed for all adults living and working in the home going forward. Licensee stated that the plan will be emailed to LPA by 2/24/2026.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. While touring the outside area of the home at 9:51 a.m. LPA observed dog feces near the childrens play structure and toys which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: LPA observed the dog feces picked up during the inspection.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Upon arrival at 9:45 AM, LPA observed the stairs leading to the second level of the family child care home was not fenced or barricaded. LPA observed a child safety gate but the gate was opened and not locked giving children in care access to the second level of the home which is off limits which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: LPA observed the gate leading to the second level of the home being closed during the inspection.
