Based on LPAs observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in the bathroom utilized by children, LPA's observed a pink razor and cleaning products in the shower, and under the sink. Under the sink had a broken safety latch making accessible to children in care. Licensee had hygiene items in the medicine cabinet. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee will remove items from bathroom, make the items inaccessible to children in care and send photo to LPA Flores via email or text by 7/23/24.
Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in two out of three staff Mandated reporter was expired at the time of inspection. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee and assistant will complete the mandated reporter (AB1207) course and send certificate via email to LPA Flores by 7/23/24.
