101223 Personal Rights (a) The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: (2) To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs.
(1) Each infant shall be constantly supervised and under direct visual observation and supervision by a staff person at all times. Under no circumstances shall ANY infant be left unattended.
.... Based upon facility documents, interviews with multiple parties, Child #1 was given Child #2's bottle to drink. This posed a potential risk to the health and safety of the child.
Based on interviews and observations, the licensee did not meet the above requirement in that one (1) infant in care wandered out of an unlocked gate without being noticed by staff. This poses an immediate health & safety risk to children in care.
