Based on interview statements, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in two of two infants present at the daycare. The licensee stated she did not document the 15-minute safe sleep checks, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: The licensee agreed to begin documenting the infant safe sleep logs. The licensee will send proof of compliance by the due date.
Based on records review and interview statements, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in one out of one CPR certificate, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. The licensee stated she was under the impression that her CPR was still valid.
Resolution: The licensee agreed to complete a pediatric CPR training and send proof of completion to the LPA.
Based on observation and records review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 1 out of 1 fire extinguishers, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee stated she will have the fire extinguisher serviced and send proof of correction to LPA A. Silva by the due date above at archibaldo.silva@dss.ca.gov
