( b ) Personnel requirements (b) This requirement was not met as evidenced by the licensee did not ensure that there was at least one person who has a current certificate in pediatric first aid and pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Based on LPA interview and record review there was no adult staff that has a current CPR and First Aid Certification on file which poses a potential risk to children in care.
Resolution: Licensee stated that they understand to obtain a First Aid and CPR certification course before expiration date. Licensee stated that they will send proof to the department of current CPR and First aid certification via email to olivia.meza@dss.ca.gov
Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 1 out of 1 persons which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Mandated reported training expired on 01/07/2021. Licensee agrees to complete the 4 hour general training and additional 3 hour child care provider training and email certificate to LPA at stella.gutierrez@dss.ca.gov
