Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 2 out of 2 infants which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. LPA arrived to the home at 1:23 PM and Staff 1 stated infants were asleep but were awoken by the door bell. During record review, LPA observed that C1 and C2 have sleep logs, however, the afternoon nap was not documented. LPA also observed that sleep chart has pre-recorded time's. LPA discussed with the Licensee that they will need to accurately record the time the infant falls asleep.
Resolution: Licensee will submit a copy of sleep logs for C1 and C2 to CCL by the due date.
Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that the licensee stated over Facetime that she was out of the state on vacation (currently on 6 days), leaving the assistant alone to operate the daycare, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee will submit a written statement to LPA regarding her understanding of absences from the daycare to LPA by 6/28/2024.
