Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that there was sunscreen and ointments in the bathroom drawer. The latch on knife drawer was not functioning. Mop water was left in a bucket in the backyard. This posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that three children (infants) were observed sleeping in their car seats while in the home, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: The licensee understands care seats should be used only for transportation. Licensee has play pens available for three children. At the time of the inspection children became awake. Licensee agrees will not use car seats for children to sleep in while in care, in the home.
Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that there were 9 children in care with only licensee present, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee understands and agrees to stay within ratio. At time of the inspection, LPA observed assistant arrive at 9:20 am, therefore becoming within ratio.
