Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed a carbon monoxide detector was not working which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee's daughter replaced battery during visit. Deficiency cleared today.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed eight piles of feces in the backyard on turf used by children. One child stepped in it and had feces on their leg and shoes which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee cleaned feces during visit and understands that feces must be cleaned at all times during day care hours and ensure children do not have access to it.
