Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in the carbon monoxide detector was not functioning properly and licensee stated prior to locating the detector that batteries were needed which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee will provide proof of properly functioning carbon monoxide detector to LPA on or before the POC due date. Licensee will provide proof by providing a video of working carbon monoxide detector to LPA via email or text.
Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in two out two staff files did not have current pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation and pediatric first aid which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee will provide proof of completion of pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation and pediatric first aid to LPA via email on or before the POC due date.
