Through interviews, it was disclosed that toddler teachers spoke to children in a "rough" manner. Furthermore, evidence obtained revelead that toddler teachers made inappropriate comments in front of children and/or spoke inappropriately to children in care, this poses an immediate Health and Safety risk to children in care.
Through evidence obtained, it was revealed that staff threatened, belittled, denied a child water, did not meet a child’s diapering needs, and did not meet a child’s needs during nap time, this poses an immediate Health and Safety risk to children in care.
(b) The needs and services plan shall be in writing and shall include the following: (2) Infants up to 12 months of age shall have a completed Individual Infant Sleeping Plan [LIC 9227 (3/20)], which is incorporated by reference.
(g) Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons and other items that could pose a danger if readily available to children shall be stored where inaccessible to children.
(B) Staff shall physically check on sleeping infant(s) every 15 minutes and document the following:
