Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. A large area rug in Early PS class was stained and ripped along the edge with loose fabric which posesa potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Buildings and Grounds a)The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. This requirement has not been met as evidenced by: Based on interviews conducted and information gathered, the classroom was messy and unorganized with children’s blankets, personal belongings and other items on the floor throughout the day. This posed a potential risk to the health and safety of the children in care.
