Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as Licensee was alone with 9 children in care during LPA arrival, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: LPA provided Licensee a copy of 102416.5 Staffing Ratio and Capacity regulations for review. Licensee will send LPA a written statement of understand that an assistant must be present in the home with her to maintain ratio at all time, otherwise she must abide to the ratio of a small Family Child Care Home when she is the only provider present. Written statement will be emailed to LPA at jialing.zhu@dss.ca.gov on or before 08/29/2025.
