ESTRADA FAMILY CHILD CARE

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, LPA observed poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, paint, and tools stored in the garage not locked, the backyard has three aloe vera plants and one rose bush with thorns which poses an immediate safety to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to lock the poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, paint, and tools stored in the garage and make the three aloe vera plants and one rose bush with thorns inaccessible to children in care. Licensee agrees to provide LPA pictures the of the items locked and inaccessible to children in care by COB on 09/23/2024.

Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. With licensee's own omission, C2 does not have a completed Infant Sleep Log available for review during the visit which poses a potential safety risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to create an Infant Sleep Log for C2 that documents the date, infant’s name, and time of each 15-minute check, initials and provide a copy to LPA via email by COB 10/072024.
