GARCIA-CEDILLOS FCC AKA LITTLE ANGELS DAYCARE

Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed staff (S1) present and caring for children in care. S1 is not associated to the facility. S1 stated she has been working at the facility since end of March or at the beginning of April of 2022 which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: LPA observed S1 leave the facility during the time of inspection.

Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA reviewed the fire drill log and observed last fire drill was documented on May 12, 2021 which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee was reminded fire and disaster drills are to be logged every six months. Licensee agreed to document fire and disaster drill every six months. Licensee agree to send proof of documentation to LPA via mail or email by POC due date.

Licensee also had an assistant present who was not associated and did not have a mandated reporter certification on file which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee also had an assistant present who was not associated and did not have a mandated reporter certification on file. Licensee was reminded a licensed child day care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility shall complete the mandated reporter certification AB1207 every two years at www.mandatedreporterca.com Licensee agreed to attend training and submit proof of completion to LPA via email or mail.
