LPA Veronica Wheatley observed the school age program not operating. The licensee did not inform the Department of closure. The facility has been closed since June 2025 due to low enrollment. The staff are unsure if the school program will reopen in the fall. Th is a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care.

a-Limitations on Capacity-A licensee shall not operate a child care center beyond the conditions and limitations specified on the license, including the capacity limitation. This is evidenced by LPA V. Wheatley observed six preschool children being supervised by three staff members. The program operates two days a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am to 12pm. The licensee does not have a preschool license. This is an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care according to Title 22 Regulation.
