Based on observation , the licensee did not comply with the section cited above carbon monoxide does not work which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee understands that she must have a working carbon monoxide detector. Licensee will get batteries or a new carbon monoxide detector and submit proof to LPA by 9/29/25 via email to Annette.Sutherland@dss.ca.gov
Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, licensee did not have complete files for children in care which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee understands that children in care must have complete files. Licensee will submit proof of all forms filled out completely by 10/2/25.
Based on LPA opening the gate to test it , the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, the gate does not close on it own and when the licensee put a spring in it the gate didn't latch which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee understands that the pool gate must open away from the swimming pool and needs to be self closing and self latching. Licensee understands that she cannot have any children until the gate is fixed. Licensee will submit proof to LPA via facetime by tomorrow.
Based on observation the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in, play equipment (see saws) was located near the pool fence making it climbable and accessible which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Correction was made during visit. Licensee understands that she can not put climbable, stacked toys near the fence making it accessible to children.
Based on observation the licensee did not comply with the section cited above , licensee was not aware of the new pool regulation and did not have a pool alarm which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee understands that she must purchase a pool alarm that meets department regulations.
Based on observation the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, licensee was unaware of new pool safety regulations and did not have life ring which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
