LING FAMILY CHILD CARE

Based on the record review, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses a potential Health & Safety risk to the children in care. During the children’s file review, the LPA reviewed sleep logs that did not document if the child was observed to be having signs of distress. Additionally, the times were preset such as 12:30PM, 12:45PM, 1:00PM, etc.

Resolution: Licensee understands sleep logs must document required information per Title 22 regulations and times must be accurate. Licensee stated children lay down at the same time everyday. LPA reminded Licensee If the child falls asleep at 12:03PM, the next time should be 15 minutes later. Licensee agrees to submit an updated sleep log that includes all required information and will be used in the future. Sleep log is due on or by POC due date of 2-27-2026.

Based on the record review and observation, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses a potential safety risk to the children in care. During the staff file review the LPA was unable to review a current Mandated Reporter certificate for S1. LPA observed S2 providing Care & Supervision. S2 stated he/she has not completed the Mandated Reporter training.

Resolution: Licensee understands all staff providing Care & Supervision to the children in care must complete Mandated Reporter training every two years. Licensee agrees to have S1 and S2 complete the training and submit the certificate of completion to the Department by 1-30-2025. Training can be completed at www. Mandatedreporterca .com
