BROWN FAMILY CHILD CARE

Based on the observation, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses a potential safety risk to the children in care. During the facility tour the Licensee was unable to open a lock box where ammunition is stored.

Resolution: Licensee understands that if ammunition is kept in the home it must be in a key locked safe and must be made available during the inspection. The Licensee made several attempts to open the safe but was unsuccessful. Licensee agrees to regain access and submit documentation to the Department on or by POC due date of 7-21-2025.

Based on the record review, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses a potential Health, Safety & Personal Rights risk to the children in care. During the review of staff files the LPA was unable to review a current Mandated Reporter certificate for S1.

Resolution: Licensee understands all adults working with the children must have a current Mandated Reporter certificate on file and available for review. Mandated Reporter training must be completed every two years and can be taken at www. Mandatedreporterca .com. Licensee agrees to obtain a current Mandated Reporter certificate for S1 and submit to the Department on or by POC due date of 7-24-2025.
