The facility acknowledged that one of our teachers posted videos on social media without proper consent, which poses a potential risk to the health, safety, and personal rights of the children in care.
(a)(1) Personal Rights (a)The Licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: (1) To be accorded dignity in his/her personal relationships with staff and other persons. This requirement was not met as evidence by: Based on interviews, the facility did not ensure dignity in the children(s) personal relationships with staff when the facility failed to prevent a verbal confrontation between staff in the presence of children which poses a potential risk to the health and safety to children in care.
Based on observations, interviews, and record reviews, the Licensee did not comply with the cited section. The facility acknowledged the incident in which C1 struck C2, resulting in injuries to C2’s face. This incident poses a potential risk to the health, safety, and personal rights of the children in care.

101223 Personal Rights (a) The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: (2) To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs.
(1) Except as specified in (3) below, good physical health shall be verified by a health screening, including a test for tuberculosis, performed by or under the supervision of a physician not more than one year prior to or seven days after employment or licensure.
