Based on observation, two windows, one located in the kitchen, and the second located in the kitchen lead directly into the pool area. The access gate leading into the pool area does not swing away from the pool area. The licensee did not comply with the section cited above in which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: The licensee shall provide proof of ensuring the inaccessibility of the pool and that the access gate leading into the pool area swings away from the pool. Proof of correction shall be submitted to CCLD on or before 1/16/2026.
Based on an interview with the licensee, stated she has not performed the daily pool inspections, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: The licensee agrees to provide proof of two weeks of the required daily logs of the pool safety inspection requirements. The plan of correction shall be submitted to CCLD on or before 1/16/2026. The licensee agrees to continue to maintain logs daily when children are in care.
Based on an iinterview; the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 2 out of 2 persons which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: The licensee agrees to provide proof of her and her assistant renewing the Mandated Reporter Training. Proof of correction shall be submitted to CCLD on or before 8/9/2024.
