Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as LPA observed spa cover was not locked. The spa cover has two latching devices with the capability to lock but the licensee was unable to find the key. Licensee stated the spa has not been used since last spring which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee stated they will obtain a spa key and keep the spa key on top of the sauna. Licensee stated they will drain the spa. Licensee stated they will obtain a child proof locking device for the sauna and provide LPA proof of corrections by POC due date.
