Based on interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as LPA observed that the Licensee did not have a daily inspection log of the drowning prevention safety features and safety equipment that is to be conducted before opening the facility which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to conduct a daily inspection before opening the facility of the drowning prevention safety features and safety equipment as well as create and maintain a log documenting these inspections. Licensee agrees to send proof of the Plan of Correction (POC) to Community Care Licensing (CCL) by the end of the business day on the POC due date of 09/17/2025.

Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as LPA observed that Licensee did not have a life ring with a minimum exterior diameter of 17 inches and labeled as approved by the US Coast Guard which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to obtain a life ring with a minimum exterior diameter of 17 inches and labeled as approved by the US Coast Guard to meet requirements. Licensee agrees to send proof of the Plan of Correction (POC) to Community Care Licensing (CCL) by the end of the business day on the POC due date of 09/17/2025.

Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as LPA observed that Licensee did not have a rescue pole with a body hook and a minimum fixed length of 12 feet which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to obtain a rescue pole with a body hook and a minimum fixed length of 12 feet to meet regulation requirements. Licensee agrees to send proof of the Plan of Correction (POC) to Community Care Licensing (CCL) by the end of the business day on the POC due date of 09/17/2025.

Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as LPA observed that Licensee did not have a pool alarm or pool cover that meets the ASTM International Standard F2208 which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to obtain either a pool alarm or pool covers that meets the ASTM International Standard F2208 and agrees to install the pool alarm or cover to meet requirements. Licensee agrees to send proof of the Plan of Correction (POC) to Community Care Licensing (CCL) by the end of the business day on the POC due date of 09/17/2025.

Based on interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as LPA observed that Licensee's Mandated Reporter Child Care Providers certificate (AB1207) expired 06/2025 which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to complete the Mandated Reporter Child Care Providers Training (AB1207). Licensee agrees to send proof of their AB1207 certificate to Community Care Licensing (CCL) by the end of the business day on the Plan of Correction (POC) due date of 09/17/2025.

Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as LPA observed a key lockable device which was placed lower than 60 inches overall above the ground and Licensee could not provide proof that fencing meets ASTM F2286 standard which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to provide proof that their mesh fencing meets the ASTM F2286 standard or agrees to have fencing come into compliance with AB2866 and regulation requirements. Licensee agrees to send proof of the Plan of Correction (POC) to Community Care Licensing (CCL) by the end of the business day on the POC due date of 09/17/2025.

Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as Licensee did not posess a valid EMSA approved CPR/First Aid card which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to obtain a valid EMSA approved CPR/First Aid card by the Plan of Correction (POC) due date of 06/30/2023. Licensee agrees to submit proof to Community Care Licensing by the POC due date.
