Based on observation interview,record review, at 2:45pm during staff file reviews, LPA observed licensee and assistant’s Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification was not EMSA approved, facility was out of compliance. The licensee did not comply with the section cited above in which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: LIcensee stated they will complete the EMSA approved CPR/First Aid class as soon as possible. Licensee will verify the course is EMSA approved on website EMSA.ca.gov Licensee will submit a copy of the certification to licensing office by the due date.
