Based on the observation the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses an potential safety risk to the children in care. During the facility tour the LPA observed stairs not barricaded with a child under the age of five.
Resolution: Licensee understands stairs must be barricaded any time there is a child under the age of five. Licensee agrees to submit a written statement of understanding.
Based on the record review, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses an potential Safety risk to the children in care. During the facility tour the Licensee did not have a current fire drill conducted. Licensee documented the fire drill during inspection.
Resolution: Licensee understands a fire drill must be conducted and it must be documented at least every six months.

Based on the observation and record review, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses an potential Safety and Personal Rights risk to the children in care. During the inspection the Licensee stated S3 helps her part time. During the inspection the LPA observed the Licensee sending C1 with S3 so she could focus on the inspection. Licensee also stated S3 does not have a Mandated Reporter.
Resolution: Licensee understands all individuals over the age of 18 must have current Mandated Reporter certificate on file. Based on (observation), LPA observed dog feces in backyard which was accessible to children at play. The licensee did not comply with the section cited above in [1] out of [1] (dog feces)which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee will maintain home in a clean and order fashion. Licensee will provided written explanation on how to keep home clean and safe for children. Licensee will email LPA written explanation by the above date.

Resolution: Licensee will fix broken fence and take pictures of repairs to submit to LPA Montoya via email: Steven.montoya@dss.ca.gov.
