Based on the observation the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses an potential safety risk to the children in care. During the facility tour the LPA observed stairs not barricaded with a child under the age of five.

Resolution: Licensee understands stairs must be barricaded any time there is a child under the age of five. Licensee agrees to submit a written statement of understanding.

Based on the record review, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses an potential Safety risk to the children in care. During the facility tour the Licensee did not have a current fire drill conducted. Licensee documented the fire drill during inspection.

Resolution: Licensee understands a fire drill must be conducted and it must be documented at least every six months.

Resolution: Licensee understands a pool cover must be on the pool at all times if a pool alarm is not available. Licensee agrees to obtain the required item and send pictures to the Department on or by 4-30-2025.

Resolution: Licensee understands a pool ring at least 17 inches in diameter must be available at all times. Licensee agrees to obtain the required item and send pictures to the Department on or by 4-30-2025.

Based on the observation and interview, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses an potential Safety risk to the children in care. During the facility tour the Licensee stated she does not have a body hook available.

Resolution: Licensee understands a body hook must be on the pool at all times. Licensee agrees to obtain the required item and send pictures to the Department on or by 4-30-2025.

Resolution: Licensee understands a daily inspection log must be available at all times. Licensee agrees to create a log and send to the Department on or by 4-30-2025.

Based on the observation and record review, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses an potential Safety and Personal Rights risk to the children in care. During the inspection the Licensee stated S3 helps her part time. During the inspection the LPA observed the Licensee sending C1 with S3 so she could focus on the inspection. Licensee also stated S3 does not have a Mandated Reporter.

Resolution: Licensee understands all individuals over the age of 18 must have current Mandated Reporter certificate on file. Mandated Reporter must be taken every two years. www. mandatedreporterca .com Licensee agrees to have S3 obtain a Mandated Reporter certificate and submit to the Department on or by 4-30-2025

Based on (observation), LPA observed dog feces in backyard which was accessible to children at play. The licensee did not comply with the section cited above in [1] out of [1] (dog feces)which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee will maintain home in a clean and order fashion. Licensee will provided written explanation on how to keep home clean and safe for children. Licensee will email LPA written explanation by the above date.

Based on observation, LPA noticed backyard fence was broken. The licensee did not comply with the section cited above in [1] out of [1] which posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee will fix broken fence and take pictures of repairs to submit to LPA Montoya via email: Steven.montoya@dss.ca.gov.
