This was not met as evidenced by: Based on LPA observation and interview, Director stated the facillity has two toilets within classroom 2 that are currently off limits to children due to them not functioning properly. Toilets have been non-operational since 11/02/2022. This poses a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care.

Based on LPA's interviews conducted and per staff’s own admission the day in question she was busy and she open the Sippy cup to pour water but she did not pay close attention and disregard that it has spoiled milk in the cup from early morning. Staff was aware of the issue until it was brought to her attention by the director after the incident occurred. Facility failed to protect the safety of the children. This is an immediate health and safety risk for the children in care.
